Working for Mamas & Papas, we created a pushchair that was simple to use by a parent who was very likely to be carrying a small child in one arm.

We explored the design space by producing numerous concepts and identified the most promising developments. These were combined into a one-of-a-kind seat assembly that interfaced with their existing frame. This demonstration unit allowed them to trial ideas with focus groups and get user feedback at an early stage. The result was a pushchair which could be folded with one hand – a key benefit for real-world users.
